MEET THE ARTIST

I was born Michaela Leddy and raised in New Hampshire. I graduated from St. Mary High School, attended the Ringling School of Art in Florida, and the University of New Hampshire.

I married and moved to Rhode Island where I enrolled in classes at the Rhode Island School of Design. I later worked for the A.T. Cross Pen and Pencil Company of Lincoln, Rhode Island designing corporate emblem logos.

My husband, Jim Castaldi, and I lived in Rhode Island for over forty years. We are both retired and have lived in Naples, Florida since 2005. Every day I am inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Naples.

What was once a hobby blossomed into a full-fledged painting career. Today, I am known for vibrant colors and realistic design. My hope is that my artworks will bring as much joy to you as they did for me while creating them.
